Distribution in schools, on school grounds or on the school bus of non-school related materials or publications is prohibited unless pre-approved by the Superintendent or his/her designee.  During school hours, teachers shall not receive agents or solicitors.

Free samples of commercial products are not to be distributed to students by any individual without the approval of the Superintendent or his/her designee.  Under no circumstances shall teachers or principals be permitted to sell products or services to students or student organizations.

Any request for a waiver to this policy shall be directed to the Superintendent or his/her designee.  The decision to grant a waiver shall be in the sole discretion of the Superintendent and may only granted when the Superintendent deems a waiver to be in the best interest of the District.
