207 Adjustments in Compensation for Coordinators and Directors

In July of each year, the Board of School Committee shall review and set annual salary increases (COLAs) for administrative staff (coordinators and directors). Permanent salary adjustments (other than COLAs) for administrative staff will be reviewed and approved by the Coordination Committee prior to inclusion in the personnel report to the BOSC.

Permanent salary adjustments (other than COLAs) will be supported, at a minimum, by:

  • current job descriptions which identify increased responsibilities;

  • comparisons of the proposed salary to salaries for similar positions within the Manchester School District; and

  • comparisons of the proposed salary to similar positions in other New Hampshire school districts or employers in similar positions in other fields.
