In an update to Manchester School District’s closure announcement from Saturday afternoon, public school buildings will be closed to students for three weeks beginning tomorrow, Monday, March 16, and running through at least Friday, April 3. Remote learning will begin as soon as possible. You will receive a message from your school’s principal tomorrow on school-specific information including:
- Academics – how remote learning will work at your school
- Medicine – when you can go to school to pick up medicine
- Personal belongings – when you can pick up personal items and books.
We will be using buses to distribute food and academic materials beginning Tuesday. We will send a followup message to let you know when the routes and times are posted on our website. Communications related to student services will be coming from the school leadership team starting tomorrow.
This is an unprecedented health crisis, and our response is unprecedented. We ask all to please take care of yourselves and others by following the best health practices provided by the CDC, and be sure to take time to check in on others.
