Dear PV Families,
I am honored and humbled to be able to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Kelly Espinola, and I have the privilege of being the principal of Parker-Varney Elementary School. I am going into my 19th year with the Manchester School District. In addition, all my schooling was done in Manchester- I am a proud graduate of CHS class of ‘98! For 12 years I was a classroom teacher at various schools within the Manchester School District. In 2014, I moved to Beech as Assistant Principal and then went on to Green Acres for the past year and a half. I am committed to Parker-Varney families, students, and staff. My goal is to see the incoming Kindergarten class graduate from West, as principal of PV, in 2032.
Education should be exciting and invigorating. I want each student, family members, and staff member to feel that excitement when they enter the building. Parker-Varney is an innovative school, and I look forward to continue moving our innovative ways forward. Many Parker-Varney staff members have been working since school has been out. They are committed to making lesson plans that help students grow and become confident in their ability to learn. I believe it is an awesome time to be a Parker-Varney Panther!
This year, Parker Varney is moving to a multi-age classroom model. When you receive your child's assignment, it may say K/1, 1/2, 2/3, or 3/4. This means that your child is enrolled in a classroom with two different grade levels. Our staff has been working all summer long to ensure that we are doing what is best for all students and learning more and more about this new (to us) model of teaching.
If you need to reach me, email is best. Please use email@example.com and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Also, I reach most evenings on the Parker Varney Facebook page. I would love to "see" you each night around 7pm. This is also where I share information about our school.
This is going to be a great year! I look forward to welcoming your students both virtually and in person.
Your Honored Principal,
